1. Do I need to bring my performing props?

You are most welcome to do so. The FEW store will also have additional supplies on hand for you. Bring your stuff to perform for the critique or Saturday contest! You must register for both days to compete.

2. What do I wear?

Business casual and bring your performance clothes if you are in the Americas Funniest Magician Contest.

3. Will there be dealers there?

Yes, we have 4 suppliers with some fun things for you, so bring your piggy bank.

4. Who is your corporate sponsor? Balloon Pump Company is our corporate sponsor and will be on hand to answer your questions.

5. Can I just come in and shop and not register?

Sorry, only registered participants may shop at the FEW Store. It is one of the benefits of registering and it in accordance to the convention insurance guidelines. Thanks for understanding.

6. Tell me more about the shows!

Please feel free to bring guest children and adults. You will have a great time laughing at the Game Show on Saturday and the participants on Sunday. There is no charge to attend the performances.

7. Do we get meals?

All meals are on your own. There will be lunches on hand to purchase at the conference center. In addition, we will be visiting a few of the fun eating establishments for dinner as a group.

8. What is the critique session about?

This is a time for you to perform for the instructors and participants a new routine or perhaps you would like some advice on a routine or trick that you are currently performing. Only positive advice is given.

9. What is the America’s Funniest Magician Contest?

This is a seven minute opportunity to showcase your talent for the audience… The convention participants will have ballots to elect a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner ;o)

10. What are the hands on sessions?

This is a time set aside to work in small groups to learn fun close up or parlor routines
